Our Big Dam Cab represents our only single vineyard bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Brown Estate property. It is named for its site on the face of our Big Dam reservoir, a 35-acre-foot lake fed by several perennial springs at the mouth of a steep ravine flanked by granite cliffs. At 1200 feet above sea level the Big Dam site commands spectacular sweeping northward views through the Chiles Valley. Its namesake wine is equally stunning both visually and on nose and palate.
